Aptissen SA stands for Advanced Polymer for TISSue ENgineering, which clearly gives a hint about the company’s skills. Those skills have been built over a period of 11 years within the Healthcare division of the Swiss company Anteis SA.The acquisition of Anteis by Merz Pharma on November 4th, 2013 gave the founders of Anteis the opportunity to spin off the Healthcare activity and to found Aptissen SA. Aptissen is today active in the fields of Ophthalmology through surgical solutions for cataract and glaucoma, and of Orthopaedics, through innovative treatments for osteoarthritis.
